The rise and fall of Anna Hazare

Anna Hazare and built a reputation in the state of Maharashtra and the anti-corruption activist. In both cases, there is no denying that Mr. Hazare was in self-destructive act of linking himself with an unknown group of individuals who have political ambitions and self-evident, that led to mortality. The second mistake was made fun of the elected representatives of the people and the right in policy making. Especially during his second term rapidly from July 25 to August 3 this year, he came across as a leader and recalcitrant fascist, who surrendered the moral space. Should play the role of social movement incentive awake the masses, and initiate processes that promote democratic institutions - and not demolished. Remember, social movements thrive better under a democratic system, everywhere else they must be several attempts to be crushed by the strong arm of the authoritarian state.

Immediately, he delivered an ultimatum to the government to accept his request to bring back black money or face the consequences. But rarely used such threats by the real leaders of social movements. I think of those who brought the Narmada Bachao Andolan, for example. If the Government is stubborn, and social leaders to inflict wounds on themselves to make the former look bad. But the record of Baba Ramdev track record shows that dramatises a general issue of self-aggrandizement. Mr. Hazare has dirtied his hands by associating himself with such a person.

In the end, today Delhi has proved to be the Waterloo for Mr. Hazare that he associated with individuals who are looking only for their own agenda.
