‘Anna was unsure of entering politics’

    Veteran anti-graft crusader Anna Hazare close Assistant Sunita Godara on Saturday revealed that the former was reluctant to support his decision to switch to a political alternative in the fight against corruption, and make a bill a strong public ombudsman.

Godara said that after Hazare insisted methods in raising awareness in the villages and campaign for the bill as strong as the Ombudsman in the next step of their agitation.

"He (Hazare) clearly states that I will continue on this path that I have already taken, through non-violence and electoral campaigns in the villages to empower the poor in this country. If you feel that this new alternative is the best and he means to fight corruption, and you believes that through this new alternative, and will win in this fight then you have the freedom to choose it. I did not put pressure on anyone, that you are free to choose their own way, if you decide to stay with me or not, and I will continue to work in a non-violent social, "he said Godara.

"He (Hazare) we are not yet ready to enter into a brotherhood politics. And the message given by Hazare Anna imagine that this decision, and the points and questions raised by Hazare Anna to the public, and even now we are in this maneuver to find the answers to these questions," said Godara.

Shortly after the announcement of a possible invasion of his policy, Hazare made an announcement through his blog of the solution to his team on August 7.

He wrote in his blog that Hazare team or a team Anna Anna Main Committee, which was formed for the Ombudsman (Lokpal) to pass the bill in Parliament, and will cease to exist and they also will not talk to any more than the government.

Thousands of supporters of Hazare took part in his election campaign with the hope that seventy activist would lead to the corruption free India.
